Adkins Lawyers, PLLC is pleased to announce that Alia Adkins-Derrick has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. Ms. Adkins-Derrick began serving her 3-year term in June of 2019.
The Texas Supreme Court Historical Society (TSCHS) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history and work of the Texas Supreme Court and appellate courts. Through research and scholarship, the Society educates the public about the history of the Texas judiciary and its significant role in the development of the state of Texas today. On behalf of the court, the Society also acts as conservator for the judicial portrait collection and other paintings and valued historic items belonging to the court.
