Before a distinguished audience of jurists and legal professionals from across Texas, Immediate Past-President Lisa Hobbs recognized Ms. Adkins-Derrick for her exceptional scholarship and invaluable contributions to the Society.
Notable attendees included the Chief Judge of the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, current and former Texas Supreme Court Chief Justices and Justices, Justices of the 5th and 14th Texas Courts of Appeals, judges from major Texas cities, past and present State Bar Presidents, and the Society’s newly sworn-in President, Ms. Jasmine Wynton.
